AllPetSolutions Retractable Tape Dog Lead with LED Light - Grey - 5m

A retractable tape lead with a rechargeable LED light built into the handle, for walks that start or finish in the dark. The light makes you visible to traffic and other walkers, and there are no batteries to replace — it charges by USB.

Key features

• Rechargeable LED light in the handle, charged by USB
• Flat nylon tape, stronger and less prone to tangling than a thin cord
• Anti-slip brake and release button, worked with one thumb
• 360° rotating anti-twist lobster clip with push quick release
• Anti-tangle, anti-twist feeder
• Soft grip handle for comfort on longer walks
• Extends to 5 metres, suitable for dogs up to 50kg

Why a light matters

Through the winter most dog walks happen before sunrise or after dark. A lit handle makes you visible to drivers and cyclists from a distance, and helps you see where your dog is when the tape is extended.

Using it safely

Lock the lead short near roads, in car parks and around other dogs, and only let the tape run out in open space. Keep a firm hold of the handle: a dog that bolts at full extension pulls hard. Check the tape for fraying from time to time, and never grab a moving tape with your bare hand.

Prefer it without the light?

Our standard retractable tape lead comes in 3m, 5m and 8m and in six colours.
