Bio Balls Biological Filter Media 40 - 1200 Balls
Biological media is what turns a filter box into a working filter, and bio balls are the simplest way to add a lot of colonisable surface in very little space. These plastic bio balls serve as replacement or top-up filter media for the AllPondSolutions Aquarium & Pond Filter Range.
The large surface area they provide supports nitro-bacteria development and helps produce and maintain a high water-oxygen level. They also hold the pH balance at neutral over long periods and can absorb and dissolve poisonous ions – overall a very efficient way of improving water quality.
