Pairing a pump to a filter is mostly a question of matching throughput, and 4500L/H on 30w covers a great many mid-sized pond filters without over-driving them. This AquaECO model is a common partner for pressurised filter kits for exactly that reason.

The AquaECO series is built on genuinely new electronics, and the payoff is threefold: large energy savings, low running noise and long durability, none of it at the expense of performance. Against other pond pump brands the wattage figures across the range are extremely economical, and over a season of continuous running that gap turns into real money.

Ultra Low Wattage:

  • AquaECO-4500 (4500L/H) = 30w

Its cage is engineered to swallow rather than choke on debris, tolerating particles of dirt and debris up to 6-8mm and presenting the maximum possible surface area for water to be drawn through the guard into the pump. That is what allows it to circulate water to a pond filter or waterfall continuously.

Two ways of running it are supported. Operational mode 1: drop the pump straight into the pond and it draws water in through the filter cage, through the pump and out of the directional hosetail outlet. Operational mode 2: fit the supplied hosetail inlet to the front of the pump and an alternative water source, such as a pond skimmer, can be piped directly in.

Both inlet and outlet hosetail adaptors can be re-angled: slacken the blue hosetail nut, set the angle you want and re-tighten. Four strong clips hold the filter cage, giving tool-free access to the pump and impeller, and the cage carries a handle so the pump can be lifted out of the water without dragging on the power cable.

For added peace of mind our AquaECO range comes with a full 2 years warranty that covers you against any electrical defect with the item.

George ★★★★★

The energy draw on this thing is the real selling point for me—30 watts pushing 4500 liters an hour means my electric bill barely blinked. It's been running nonstop since spring and the water flow to my filter bed hasn't dropped a bit, so I can't complain.

Edward ★★★★★

This pump is surprisingly quiet for how much water it moves, which makes it a great upgrade for a koi pond. I was worried about the power consumption, but 30 watts is much less than my old unit, especially at this flow rate. It paired perfectly with my existing filter without needing any adapters.

Sofia S. ★★★★★

My pond's filter finally gets the flow it needs without me worrying about the energy bill—30 watts for 4500 liters per hour is impressively efficient. Setup was straightforward, and the pump runs quietly enough that I forget it's even on.
