Japanese Matting (Fits BF-6000 models)
Media that blinds over solid is worse than no media at all - it starves the bacteria and forces water round the outside. Japanese matting solves that with an open, tangled structure that carries an enormous bacterial population while still passing water freely, which is why it is one of the most efficient and durable mechanical and biological filtration media available on the market.
These high quality pond filtration mats are cut to fit with the AllPondSolutions BF-6000 Pond Filter. They are extremely sturdy, stay in place rather than drifting out of position, and are easy to clean.
