AllPondSolutions 400L/H Hang-on External Filter

Where there is no cabinet to hide a canister and no room to lose inside the tank, a hang-on filter is the practical answer - it clips over the rim and takes up no swimming space at all. The AllPondSolutions 400L/H Aquarium Hang-on External Filter fits tank rims up to 15mm and suits fresh or salt water aquariums up to 60 litres capacity.

Filter Operation

Water is drawn up a vertical plastic inlet tube - which also skims the surface via the supplied attachment - and into a large filter chamber. There it passes through a media-filled pad providing chemical, biological and mechanical filtration, then returns to the tank over a waterfall-effect outlet. That falling return is not just cosmetic: it agitates the surface and raises oxygen levels as it goes.
