AllPondSolutions 2000L/H Aquarium External Filter 2000EF

Tanks of up to 1000 Litres are where internal filters stop being an option at all - there simply is not enough sponge volume to keep pace. The AllPondSolutions 2000EF answers that with 2000L/H of flow and three (3) internal layered baskets sitting outside the tank, each filled with a different filter media material so that biological, mechanical and chemical filtration are each handled thoroughly and separately.

Ceramic rings, bio balls, coarse foam and fine filter foam are supplied. Run the tank on the provided media and you will observe a vastly improved level of waste-free water through extremely strong biological purification, and because the layered baskets are easy to access, customising your media choices to suit your aquarium and fish livestock needs is simple.

Functionally the unit behaves exactly like our internal powerhead filters, but it is designed to be positioned outside the tank. An inlet tube draws water in and an outlet tube returns it crystal clear (both supplied). The outlet carries a spray-bar to help increase oxygen aeration levels within the tank. Alongside the huge internal media capacity, keeping the hardware outside frees up space within the display.

Maintaining the filter is very simple. The drip-free shut-off tap allows you to remove the filter and transport it away from the aquarium to an area more suitable for cleaning. Each media basket lifts smoothly out of the unit, rinses through easily and returns to continue its operation.
